Forward of their return to Broadway within the new musical Flying Over Sundown, Carmen Cusack, Harry Hadden-Paton, and Tony Yazbeck stopped by the Lincoln Restaurant to talk in regards to the present—a 1950s-set story exploring the position and results of LSD and their well-known roles: Clare Boothe Luce, Aldous Huxley, and Cary Grant, respectively.

ames Lapine, Tom Kitt, and Michael Korie’s Flying Over Sundown will start previews at Lincoln Middle Theater within the Vivian Beaumont Theater, March 12 forward of an April 16 opening.

The musical encompasses a e book and path by Lapine (Falsettos, Sunday within the Park With George), music by Kitt (Subsequent to Regular, If/Then), and lyrics by Korie (Conflict Paint, Gray Gardens). Michelle Dorrance, founder and inventive director of Dorrance Dance, will make her theatrical debut as choreographer.
Although a piece of fiction, Flying Over Sundown is impressed by three well-known people: Courageous New World creator Huxley (Hadden-Paton), The Girls playwright, diplomat, and congresswoman Luce (Cusack), and Hollywood main man Grant (Yazbeck), every of whom experimented with the drug LSD.
