After the attack on the army base in Uri that killed 18 soldiers, there’s a lot of anger among Indians calling for an action against the neighbouring country that’s accused of providing safe haven to terrorists. And after Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly in which he said Hizbul commander Burhan Wani who was killed by Indian forces in July, a “young leader”, the resentment among Indians knows no bounds.
Every now and then the two sides are at loggerheads with each other on Twitter. The recent threat by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena asking all the Pakistani artists to leave the country within 48 hours hasn’t helped the cause.
So when Twitter user @Ghazzuu tried to troll India but sharing a screenshot of Google search “Why India always” on the micro-blogging site, Indian Twitterati was quick to notice and gave it back in the same language.
The last time people tried to troll India on its performance in Rio Olympics, we all know how that went. Be it British journalist Piers Morgan or Pakistani journalist Omar R Quraishi, Indian Twitterati hasn’t spared anyone.
Here’s what he shared.
That’s how Indian Twitterati reacted.
