These awards are presented annually by FIFA. The first 

ceremony of Best FIFA Football Awards 

was held in 2016 for awarding the game's 

outstanding performers. Its inaugural 

ceremony was held at Zurich, Switzerland. 

These awards included a FIFA Fan Award 

that recognizes an outstanding fan moment.
Best men's player

This went to Lionel Messi.

It is the sixth time he's been voted the world's best, he also won in in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2015.

The player helped Barcelona win La Liga and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Best women's player

United States player Megan Rapinoe won the award for best women's player.

She was up against fellow American Alex Morgan and England's Lucy Bronze.

Rapinoe was the best player at this year's Women's World Cup as she helped the US win the competition.

Best men's coach

urgen Klopp picked up this award.

The Liverpool boss led his team to victory in the Champions League this year.

Klopp beat Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino and City's Pep Guardiola.

Best women's coach

Whilst US player Megan Rapinoe won the award for best women's player, her coach Jill Ellis won best women's coach.

Rapinoe had loads of her praise for her boss and said: "Jill Ellis and the rest have put us in a great position. This was an incredible year for women's football."

Best goalkeeper

This went to Alisson Becker.

The Liverpool keeper had major success in the Champions League, and was first choice for Brazil as they lifted the Copa America on home soil.

Best goal

Daniel Zsori, the eighteen-year-old player, won the award for best goal.

He won it for his spectacular 93-rd minute overhead kick for Debrecen against Ferencvaros just after he came on as a substitute for his Hungarian league debut in February.

There’s a huge debate around Women Empowerment and Gender Equality. A lot of efforts are going on breaking the stereotypes but when it comes to females, no one bats an eye.

A Reddit user named CuteBananaMuffin shared an incident recently in which a girl got angry over him for not paying her bill during the date.

The user shared a snapshot of his conversation with the girl in which she’s slamming him for just paying his own bill i.e 17.50 euros and letting her pay her bill of 110 euros. Have a look at the conversation below-

Talking to a leading website, the guy told that the date was fun until she started talking about liking another guy. And finally, when it came to the bill it all went bad. She was shocked to see that he let her pay. Even though she didn’t say anything at that time, her facial expressions said it all.

The guy also said that he usually pays for both sides but he’s a student who works for 60 hrs a week to pay for food and books. He couldn’t afford to pay 110 euros equivalent to Rs 9000 and that’s why he asked her out again to make up for the last time and hoping that they can go for a cheaper place.

Now that’s really an eye-opener. Isn’t it?

Who Is Ruby In Sanjay Dutt’s Biopic Sanju? Any Guesses?

The biopic on Bollywood’s bad boy Sanjay Dutt, Sanju is already out and ruling the box offices. Everyone is praising Ranbir’s performance in the movie. If you’ve watched the movie, you’d have already tried to match the reel-life and the real-life characters in Sanjay Dutt’s life. Apart from Ranbir, the film stars Sonam Kapoor whom the actor dated back in the 1980s and 1990s.

Sonam Kapoor, who is essaying the role of Ruby in the film, has a pivotal role in the movie. Her name in the film is Ruby. However, in reality, Sanjay Dutt didn’t have any girlfriend named Ruby.

Ruby, played by Sonam Kapoor, has been projected as one of Sanjay Dutt’s ex-girlfriends. As per the reports, Sonam’s character is an amalgamation of Sanjay’s ex-girlfriends and the character is based loosely on Tinu Munim or Madhuri Dixit, whom the actor had dated before.

The makers have refused to comment about the role of Sonam Kapoor. A lot of characters have been kept away from the biopic. Sanjay had a long list of affairs and girlfriends. All his affairs have been compressed to this fictitious character named Ruby.

Let us clear out the speculations. Sonam Kapoor as Ruby is not playing the role of Tina Munim, who is now Tina Ambani. They were childhood friends and started dating each other during Sanjay’s debut movie. As per the movie, Sanjay ditched Ruby whereas in real life Tina Munim left Sanjay due to his destructive nature. There’s no mention of Tina in the movie.

She is not even playing Sanjay Dutt’s first wife and the mother of his eldest daughter Richa Sharma.

In the movie, it has been revealed that Sanjay had about 350 girlfriends. However, the only girlfriend shown in the movie is Sonam Kapoor. Even in the interviews, the actress didn’t reveal details about her role and said that she is not playing any actress. There are high chances that she’s playing the role of Madhuri Dixit, but we still aren’t sure of the same.

At last, we can infer that the character is not based on any particular female of Sanjay’s life. Rather different references have been taken from his life and the role of his ex-girlfriends has been compressed to one girlfriend, named Ruby, shown in the movie.
