Airtel announced the a la carte pricing of all the 198 linear channels available on its platform, effective January 1, 2011.
In case the customer opts for the a la carte option, there would be a minimum charge of Rs 150 + service tax or actuals whichever is higher. Customers can go to the website www.airtel.in/digitaltv and choose the channels they wish to have in their selection, from the Plans and Offers section or call our 24*7 toll free numbers- 12150 for airtel users OR 18001028080 for other mobile users. Customers can also choose to SMS ‘HELP’ from their mobile number to 54325 for Customer Care representatives to help them with their choice of a la carte channels. The channels are sorted by genres for easy selection.
You have to select those channels whose total cost is equal to or less than 150 in this link -airtel digital TV - Top Ups Otherwise you prepare your own list and send it to ala.carte@in.airtel.comwith subject line A-la-carte.
You can take any of the topup available after once you complete your 150rs.in FTA pack.You will also get any one of the free regional lifetime topup with this. you have to choose the channels carefully when selecting for 150 rupees as it doesn't exceed 150.Otherwise you have to pay more.Suppose you selected 13 channels for Rs140 and your 14th channel is HBO which price is 20.You think you you will pay 140+20 =160.But it is wrong.You have to pay 150+20=170.When the channels price exceeds 150they leave the last requested channel and activate the pack.

Alacarte pack is a monthly package with minimum monthly rental of Rs. 150 (plus taxes as applicable), and cannot be clubbed with any other monthly package.
To add channels to your existing monthly package as topups, please SMS ADD <Channel No.> to 54325.
